Passport fees are set nationally, not by state. The passport forms say the fees are established by law and regulation and point to 22 CFR 22.1, the Department of State's Schedule of Fees for Consular Services. That section was last amended on 2026-07-01; the eCFR copy we read was up to date as of 2026-10-15.
